Bison Pot Roast

The traditional comfort food.

  • 1 Bison chuck roast
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cups green beens
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3-4 cups water

Cooking Directions:

  1. Place frozen (or partially thawed) chuck roast in the bottom of a crock-pot. Add potatoes, carrots, onion, green beans, salt and pepper.
  2. Add 3-4 cups of water, depending on preferred amount of broth, and cook for 8-10 hours on low setting.
  3. Serve with your favorite biscuits.

This recipe is great because you can do the prep the night before and add ingredients to the crock-pot the next morning and cook. By the time you you come home from work, you will have a delicious meal waiting for you!
